Anti Damp Paints

You might experience a damping problem due to heavy rains or water leakage at your home. You will notice that your paint and plaster are peeling off and blistering from your walls.

If you are facing this situation, Graphenstone anti-damp paint can help you solve the problem and stop moisture from entering your walls. Damp-proof paints are used on the inner surface of your paint, usually in a wet area, and they help to keep water outside.

You can also use it on the outer surface to avoid water seepage into your walls. This paint will also serve as a primer before applying the final paint surface, making your walls smooth.

Why Choose Graphenstone Anti Damp Paint?

Damp-resistant paint will not work if you haven’t chosen the quality one. Here’s where you need to consider the Graphenstone paint for damp walls, which will be a game changer if you face moisture issues in your home.
Graphenstone anti-damp paint will act as a barrier on the surface, preventing moisture from seeping through. It restricts moisture from entering your walls, is eco-friendly, and absorbs CO2. All of our anti-damp paints are breathable and hygienic.

Moreover, our damp-seal paint is designed to withstand harsh conditions. Unlike standard paint, it won’t peel, crack, or bubble when exposed to moisture over time. It adheres firmly to the surface, offering long-lasting protection.

Anti Damp Paints Colours

You can also contact us directly to choose the most suitable colour from NCS980. Remember, select the colour of damp seal paint based on the regular paint colour you will use on the surface.

Surface Preparation for Graphenstone Anti Damp Paint
Preparing a surface before applying anti-damp paint is crucial. If you’re dealing with any existing mould, wet patches, or flaking paint, remove it. You can also use a stiff brush or scraper to remove loose debris or peeling sections.
If there’s mould, you can apply a mild bleach solution to kill it before rinsing it off with clean water. After this process, ensure the surface is dry before applying the anti-damp paint.

Moreover, if the surface is damaged from anywhere, fill it with any suitable filler, as an uneven surface can prevent even application, which could reduce its effectiveness.

How to Apply Graphenstone Anti Damp Paint?

Firstly, you need to dilute your Graphenstone anti-damp paint. Before dilution, read the instructions to ensure the correct dilution ratio (10-20%) based on the product.
Once that’s done, use a brush, roller, or spray to apply the first coat evenly, focusing on thin, smooth layers. Let this layer dry completely for 4-6 hours, depending on humidity.
Then, you can apply the second layer, thicker than the first, for extra protection. Avoid painting in high humidity or frigid temperatures for the best results.
