Surface Preparation for Paint Colours

Before painting, you need to make the surface clear of any dust, dirt, or grease. A clean surface will help the paint adhere to the walls properly, increasing longevity.

After cleaning your walls, check the damaged parts. If there are any holes or cracks, use a filler to cover them. Once you have made the surface smooth, you can sand your walls to make them even.

Let your walls dry entirely if they have been humid or damp before. You might also consider applying a primer if you paint over a dark or glossy finish. It helps the paint to adhere well and gives a smooth finish.

How to Apply Graphenstone Paint Colours?

Applying our paint colours is a straightforward process. You need a brush or roller and a paint tray to apply it. Ensure that walls are clean before using.

Stir the paint well to mix it thoroughly. Now, dip your roller in the paint evenly and apply it on the walls. You can start painting downwards from the top of the wall, using long, even strokes. Use the brush to paint the corners without overspilling.

If you are working with multiple colours or the previous coat is dark, consider applying a primer first to ensure even coverage. Once you have used the first layer, let it dry completely and apply the second if needed.
