Why use Graphenstone eco friendly wood paint?

Welcome to wood paint for the green generation. With all of us needing to be more conscious about the impact we have on the world around us, now those in the decorating and painting trade can carry out quality refurbishments and renovations using eco-friendly paint for wood.

Graphenstone is no ordinary paint, as it actually benefits the environments in which it is used. It contains lime which is naturally organic and therefore means you can apply this wood paint to all sorts of interiors with the following benefits:

  • Trace VOCs only (under 0.1%)
  • Free from Formaldehyde
  • Breathable
  • Anti-mould
  • Anti-fungus

Why Use Graphenstone Eco Friendly Wood Paint Instead Of Your Regular Wood Paint?

Technologically Advanced Paint For Wood
Graphenstone wood paint alternative is infused with carbon nanotechnology graphene, which is the toughest material known to scientists. It’s a fact that has earned our non-toxic wood paint Class 1 Strength status, the first natural paint in history to achieve this. Proof, just in case you needed it, that our interior woodwork paint has the credentials to match and even exceed the durability and performance of the regular trade paint you use on wood.

Ultra-Flexible Paint For Wood
Graphene is noted for its flexibility and elasticity. That gives you better coverage when you use it, and will help ensure the paint you apply to wooden surfaces does not crack or flake over time, maintaining its original appearance for longer.

Non-Toxic & Odour Free Wood Paint
Another plus point when using Graphenstone eco-friendly paint on wooden surfaces is its non-toxic, odour-free nature. Certainly a bonus for those tasked with applying it, but also for those who will be occupying the spaces containing the recently painted wooden items. There’s no need to leave all the windows open and rooms abandoned for hours, if not days. Graphenstone eco-friendly wood paint lets people move in straight away. And the tradespeople who have used the paint can rinse their brushes in water, with no need for thinner.

Wood Paint With Incredible Environmental Credentials
This is a bold claim, but we can back it up: Graphenstone is the most eco-friendly paint you can dip a brush into. Its lime content actually and actively absorbs carbon dioxide from the air. In fact, three pots of our eco-friendly wood paint, have the power to absorb as much CO2 from the atmosphere as a 250kg tree manages in a year.

Its alkaline lime content has a pH of 12, which means no fungus or mould or bacteria stands a chance of being able to grow on it. So wooden surfaces painted with Graphenstone keep looking their best for longer.

Paint For Wood That Goes On Smooth And Stays On Smooth
Your standard trade paint for wood is liable to bubble and peel after time. Not a good look. It happens because when this old-style paint is applied to wooden surfaces, it actually traps moisture which, because it can’t escape, appears as bubbles and peeling over time. The Graphenstone wood paint alternative is naturally breathable, so moisture is able to escape through it, preventing unsightly bubbling and peeling.
